Where Little Steps Lead to Big Milestones

Nestled in the leafy suburb of Craighall, Rosie Edwards runs a small physiotherapy practice offering treatments tailored to the unique needs of paediatric patients. Combining expertise and compassion, Rosie nurtures the physical wellbeing of children through an empowering, patient-centred, family-oriented approach.

Rosie, a new mother herself, has a special interest in early childhood intervention. She has first-hand experience in dealing with developmental delay, plagiocephaly, and chest infections, and hopes to help moms and dads who are navigating similar problems. Given her considerable experience in the field, Rosie is also passionate about the treatment of children with cerebral palsy and muscular dystrophy. Rosie is dedicated to seeing results in the children she treats and, together with each child`s family, is willing to walk beside them on the often-challenging journey.

Rosie`s Story

Rosie Edwards is a physiotherapist with considerable experience in the paediatric field. After completing her community service at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital, she worked as a physiotherapist at Forest Town School, where she gained valuable knowledge and experience in treating children with special needs.

Rosie obtained her BSc in Physiotherapy at the University of Cape Town and went on to complete her Masters in Physiotherapy at the University of Witwatersrand. She is MAES (Movement Analysis Education Strategies) Therapy trained, and has completed the
Introductory Neurodevelopmental Therapy Course as well as an Aquatic Physiotherapy Foundation and Aquatic Physiotherapy Paediatric course.

Being a new mom, Rosie decided to practise from home to give her flexibility and more valuable time with her little one. She only has capacity to take on a limited number of children to ensure that she is able to give each of them the dedicated attention they require.
